25.06.2013 - "Failed to verify username, session authentication server unavailable!"/"Took too long to log in"

 The server is up but people seem unable to connect. We are investigating the issue.

Update: There might be a small DDoS-attack going on that causes the trouble.

08.06.2013 - Server down

Update: The server is back up again, the cause for the downtime is still unknown.

Server down, waiting for response from server provider, updates about the issue are to follow.

03.06.2013 - Adventure Map

The all new Adventure Map is available now! You'll find the entrance at the Flying Giants Spawn, or by using the new portal on the ground floor of the Observatory. Credits go to SirLollington and Sir_Overdrive.

28.05.2013 - Server down

The server is down temporarily since the server provider has started an operating system upgrade, the server should be back up tonight at about 19:00 GMT.

The server is offline for an unknown reason, a ticket has been created at the server provider. We will bring back the server as fast as possible. Apologies.

12.05.2013 - African Mountain Survival Build Challenge has ended

 
Our African Mountain Survival Build Challenge has ended! There is a Hall of Fame section now, that shows all the buildings.

 The server is upgraded and will have a higher player limit then! We apologize for some downtime due to the upgrade. The server should be back up tonight in any case.

13.04.2013 - Portal Network

As of today it is possible to travel between the different spawn areas, there is now a network of portals. Before it was only possible to spawn at the observatory and teleport to one of the spawn areas with no return. Now you will find a portal at each of the spawn locations that allows you to warp back to the observatory. You will also be allowed to reenter the observatory if you left it on the ground floor.

The reasons for these changes are that new players will now be able to choose their start location while keeping their spawn items. Since before it was only possible to return and choose another portal by dying, this included loosing the spawn items. It also removes limitations to the mobility of each player where these limitations might have been stalling the game before.
